Look what I found on my computer!!!
Found a file on my computer today that was named Klara's USA....I guess I never look to hard at the desktop. But it was a nice surprise when I opened it and found pics from her visit last year. I especially liked the ones she took of her with the kids. :) I had to laugh when I came across the car pics. Good Memories :)

back to your regularly scheduled programming
This is what happens when you take a naked barbie(Repunzel) to your grandmother's house. Well at least this is what happens when you take naked dolls to MY Grandma's house. Ryann has decided that she now loves her barbie type dolls...since she has been to daycare she has learned ALOT. On Memorial day, which is the biggest holiday in my family, she took her naked barbie, naked Flynn Rider doll, and horse to play at Grandma's. Of course, Grandma made a huge deal about "those" type of dolls and little children should not be playing with them...mainly because they will question all those "parts" on bodies. My Lordy...as if the half naked girls in commericials to sell you bras or perfume wouldn't make a kid wonder a dang thing. We ended up leaving the naked dolls and Grandma sewed underwear on them. Unfortunately there was a tragic accident with Flynn Rider, where his legs were broken beyond repair. Grandma claims it was an accident, but I have a sneaking suspicion that she may have pulled his legs a little too hard and snapped that rubber band that held his legs on. (She did not like him at all) Ryann wasn't exactly sure what to think about the new clothing, but she has gotten use to it. I actually don't know who was more scarred in the whole incident....Ryann or Grandma.

There is a difference!
OK...so I guess this being MY blog, I have a right to complain and vent about a current issue right? I have been hosting Exchange students for FIVE years now. Six kids total during this time. I have pretty much loved the experience and the opportunity to grow to love each one in my own way. K- with that said I really need to be ABSOLUTELY clear here. I AM NOT A FREAKING HOTEL KIDS!!!!! When you ask to visit and say that you want to stay with me, YES there is an implied sense that you will be spending a significant amount of time with us. QUALITY time. I expect that you will come and show my family respect in following the same type of family/household rules that have always been in place. If you would like to stay out all hours of night, or come and go as you please....by all means Please use your money and get a hotel, or stay with people which those type of acts will not bother them. It would be called RESPECT. I get that you all are growing up and think that because as an ADULT you can do whatever you want. Well you can, but not when you are a GUEST at someone else's home! I understand that some of you have the excuse that I am like family and that is how you act when you visit home. Yes, I love you like family, but that does NOT give you the right to walk all over me and to hurt my feelings. I am also a person too. If you have limited time to visit, please just make time to visit with us when you can, I understand that friendships last a lifetime and family comes and goes....oh maybe that is backwards. So from this post on all who make plans to visit will be directed to read this post so there is no miscommunication about the terms of their visit. This does not mean that you are not invited to come and stay. I am just stating my expectations and you can decide if you'd like to stay with me, or just visit the family when you have time.

Blackmail video....and YOU know who you are!!! ;)
So my favorite "shall remain nameless" person has stepped into it again. :) I thought that I was the only one to blindly walk into something without prior knowledge of what all the details were. I know have video evidence that I come by this NATURALLY!!!! I never thought that I could catch a moment like this in my life, hahahahaha but thanks to my wonderful Aunt I can die a happy woman. :P OK...so here is the bad news. I promised that I would not post the video to the internet. :( Sorry everyone. Those who were there for the event can smile just knowing they were a part of something epic. :D I promised that I wouldn't post the video, but I didn't promise that I wouldn't mention it in my blog! This blog makes *unnamed* crazy and I ♥ it!

Holy Smoly....I have been busy :)
OKay....I know that I have seriously neglected this blog, but I will have you know that I do that so I don't neglect my family :P Life has been crazy since I, and I say that jokingly, decided to return to work. (I was seriously mislead about the terms of the contract!!) As with anything I do I jump in with both feet then say...What the Hell just happened!! I think for the first time in my life my dad played this fact about me to his advantage! Sheesh....he is getting smart in his old age. This past week I went to three graduation ceremonies, and made two quilts. My kids were left with their dad for two days and Luca was there to supervise...LOL. I sure had fun watching my friend Angie and her daughter Jacey graduate from college and high school. I was a boob and cried....thank god for permanent make-up and eyelash extension that I was able to cry without turning into a mess. This summer is turning into a crazy summer and there are only a few short months to be completely swamped with all the projects in our plans!!! Two of which I have to pull off all by myself! I have had experience painting. Tomorrow is Memorial day and I have a hard time with it, but I know that Cadence is in heaven smiling down on Lewis and me, and probably giggling about the fact that Ryann is such a character. Wesley asks about her still and I know that he loved her before she was born, because that is just who that kid is. Tomorrow we will visit her grave and place the flowers and release the balloons....and even after that we will continue to love her and think of her often. Hopefully I will be able to get a day off here and there and catch up on all the other things that I am falling behind on.

Forgot I had a blog... ;)
Not really...just been real busy with life and other stuff. :) I took a photography class this past month and I am hoping that I can remember all that I learned about it. Short term brain damage may inhibit this, but I can always hope. I went back to work....temporarily for my mom to have surgery and I think she up and retired on me!!!! So I have obligations to the Family Business....which will lead me into an early straight jacket! I do however have big plans for the added income so here is hoping that it all works out. We are braving adding onto our house doing 95-96% of the work ourselves. I am hoping that I can keep my mouth shut during this LONG process so I can remain married. I hear that building a house or any major construction project can really put the screws to your relationship. I am so happy that mine is ROCK SOLID (I would add rolling eyes emoticon, but I don't know how to do that one). I informed the troops (our kids) that they were going to be enduring a diet of mac and cheese and ramen for the next 4-5 years so we can make our dreams possible....with my cooking skills they were not complaining about that one!! Way to take one for the team! Maybe though out the whole thing we will be able to finish all the other abandoned projects and finally have a house that we totally enjoy....but then we will probably have to move or something. :) With my new camera skills you'd think I'd have pics to post, but I am kind and will spare you all the pics of my back yard with all its dog poo glory....and at the moment it just looks like Lewis has dug me a shallow grave. (which I nearly fell backwards into....how convenient!) When we move onto the next step I will post much more exciting pics :)
I am posting irrelevant pictures that I missed these past few months...enjoy :)

Nightlight
I have come to the conclusion that my daughter is nothing like me. I just had an experience to cement that thought into stone. As a child I was terrified of the dark. I had to have a nightlight and it still didn't help to calm my fears. I am fairly certain at a young age I was visited by aliens who scrambled my brain, glowing red eyes came down the stairs and something has grabbed my legs from under my bed. Sure, now that I am an adult I realize that I have a VERY active imagination and as a child I was certain that a hollow pre-fab door would protect me from the scary things at night. :) So that is me....as a child. Ryann has a nightlight and tonight I found out first hand that she uses hers in a very different way. My little girl gets real close to the glowing light and proceeds to FIX her toys!!!!!! She is her daddy's girl through and through! Maybe she'll grow up and be able to fix mommy's car when it breaks down. I can dream....right?
